Hello and welcome to whisky.com, where fine spirits meet. Today, we have the second part; it’s the Crown Royal Vanilla, and it’s the same as the Apple one. We have 35%; it’s a whisky liqueur, and this time, we have vanilla from Madagascar, which sounds quite special. Actually, 50% of the world’s production of vanilla comes from Madagascar. Vanilla, I looked it up and not much more to say, but try. I had it back in the days when I was a student. I had a vanilla vodka; it was horrible. Let’s see if nice Canadian whisky can do the vanilla better. And again, I think a Crown Royal always makes a great gift because it just looks fancy, it looks cool too. Present it to someone.

And it’s hard to scoop the screw cap without a corkscrew. Life is daring, so let’s take a look at how vanilla adds to Crown Royal. We usually get a lot of vanilla in the whiskey because of the pendulum and the wood sugars. Oh, that’s a bit different vanilla. I would have expected it to be much sweeter, but it’s subtle, and you do get all the flavors as well. You get a bit of oakiness, a bit of tannins, and a bit of wood, but it does give you that distinctive vanilla smell that you know from cheesecake. a cheesecake I would say, often, vanilla ice cream. It’s a bit different than what you usually know from the [ice cream]. Vanilla that you know from bourbon or something like that. Oh, it’s a smooth taste.

But also a lot of sugar in you, a lot of sugar. It’s definitely one of those very sweet liqueurs. Ah, now here comes the vanilla, and it takes a bit of time. Lots of sweetness. When they love a little bit of oak, a little bit of wood. Hmm, what? Yeah, sticky liquor, syrup. Hmm, and it’s nice and incredibly smooth, so compared to my whole vodka, it’s awesome because it’s it’s round, drinkable, smooth, very sweet.
